2005 KMHS Literary Meet Selected
State Runner-Up for AAAAA

Kennesaw Mountain was awarded State Runner-Up at the AAAAA Competition on Saturday in Warner Robins. Collins Hill placed first with 30 points, KMHS had 20 points, and Star's Mill finished third with 14 points.

Joel C. is a three-time State Champion in Boys' Spelling!
Nolan R. placed second in Dramatic Interpretation
Andrew J. placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking
Harrison C. finished third in Boys' Solo
Our quartet (Harrison C., Jared B., Stuart B. & Robert W.) placed fifth
Our trio (Lindsay M., Katie G. & Colbi S.) placed fifth

FIRST in Region

KMHS Literary Team placed first at Region Competition with 70 points.  

Nolan R. - 1st in Dramatic Interpretation
Andrew J. - 1st in Extemporaneous Speaking
Joel C. - 1st in Spelling
Harrison C. - 1st in Boys' Solo
Girls' Trio - 1st  (Colbi S., Lindsay M., Katie G.)
Boys' Quartet -  (Harrison C., Jared B., Stuart B., Robert W.)

Sarabryn H. - Tied for first in Girls' Essay; and in the tiebreaker was moved to second (recognized as a Region Winner, but does not advance to state)

Lauren C. - 2nd Dramatic Interpretation
Monica S. - 2nd Extemporaneous Speaking
Kristen W. - 2nd Girls' Spelling
Francesa C. - tied for 2nd - Girls' Solo
Boyd G. - 4th Boys' Essay
