| Throughout your high school career, you will be required to read many books for courses and also through summer reading. We hope, however, that you will read many books in addition to the books which you are required to read in school. While reading for pleasure increases your reading skills, it also enhances your life by introducing you to interesting characters, challenging situations, intriguing historical dilemmas, and sheer drama and entertainment.
